The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should be part of your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
